We met in January 2006 working togethar in the Kindergarten room at the Boys & Girls Club in Fountain Valley. We remained friends after Shaun moved back to Los Angeles for law school that August, and started dating in January 2007.
Things became "official" on February 17, 2007 during a trip to Disneyland. If you ask Shaun, this was at the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney (over beers)... if you ask Gricel, it was in front of the Cinderella Castle right before the firework show. Either way, we've been dating ever since.
We got engaged on November 25, 2011 during a weekend trip to Temecula. Shaun proposed during sunset at the Weins Family Cellars and, of course, Gricel said Yes! We will be married on February 17, 2013 -- our six year anniversary -- at the Seacliff Country Club in Huntington Beach.
